Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Lead to join our team in Farnborough, UK. As a key member of our security architecture team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing robust security solutions to protect our clients' critical infrastructure.

In this role, you will work closely with our engineering, service, and business development teams to design and implement secure systems that meet the highest standards of security and compliance. You will also be responsible for interfacing with security design partners across the programme, including customer and supplier representatives, to ensure that our security solutions meet their needs.

As a Cyber Security Lead, you will have a strong understanding of cyber risk and treatment approaches, as well as experience in applying commensurate detective and protective security controls to reduce risk to an acceptable level. You will also have a deep understanding of the controlling processes for, and experience of, the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements management, configuration management, and design trade off.

The ideal candidate will have a CISSP certification and other industry qualifications such as Risk or Public/Private Cloud certifications. You will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to develop and communicate a vision to meet the system requirements. A good level of commercial awareness is also essential to support the bid and delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement robust security solutions to protect clients' critical infrastructure
  • Design and implement secure systems that meet the highest standards of security and compliance
  • Interface with security design partners across the programme, including customer and supplier representatives
  • Ensure that security solutions meet the needs of all stakeholders
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
Requirements
  • CISSP certification and other industry qualifications

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
