About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Lead Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in the UK. As a key player in the design, development, and testing of software systems, you will be responsible for leading a team of software developers and working on cutting-edge Cyber and Information Assurance projects.

Job Description

You will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing secure software systems.
  • Leading a team of software developers and providing guidance on software development best practices.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Developing and maintaining cybersecurity policies and procedures.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats and technologies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Full life-cycle software development experience.
  • Recent experience using C or C++ in embedded applications, with experience targeting PC environments an advantage.
  • Sole British nationality (due to UK eyes-only projects) and ability to obtain UK security clearance (SC).
  • Scripting expertise with bash, python, or similar.
  • Proven experience with Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and programming skills.
  • Configuration management and version control experience.
  • Previous experience of leading within a software development program, including mentoring or leading other software developers.

Salary
