Job Title: Academic Leader in Humanities
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Academic Leader in Humanities to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning across KS4 and KS5, as well as contributing to the development of our Humanities curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire secondary students to reach their full potential
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and guidance
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Contribute to the development of our Humanities curriculum, ensuring it is relevant and engaging for students
- Participate in school-wide initiatives to improve student outcomes and achievement
Requirements:
- QTS or equivalent
- Degree in a relevant field, such as Education or Humanities
- Proven experience of teaching and leading in a secondary school setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
