About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our Neurodevelopmental Conditions (NDC) Service within Oxfordshire's Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to children and young people with suspected or identified neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism and ADHD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead on delivering care for an agreed case load of patients, supporting with providing interventions based on core professional skills.
  • Join the multi-disciplinary assessment clinic model of the NDC, working collaboratively with the team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  • Provide duty cover for the team as a point of contact for urgent issues, offering follow-up support to young people who require ongoing treatment and care.
  • Work closely with the Clinical Lead to co-ordinate and deliver the assessment and treatment service for children and young people, involving family members and others involved in their care.
  • Undertake and manage a specific caseload of young people, completing all required documentation, including risk assessments and care plans.
  • Implement and co-ordinate a range of interventions for children, young people, and families, prioritising clinical time and caseload effectively.
