Property Management Director

Haart Estate Agents is seeking a skilled Property Management Director to lead their Northampton team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property legislation and regulations, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of property managers
  • Monitor and assess individual team member performance
  • Ensure the business is risk-averse and follows the highest compliance standards
  • Negotiate tenancy extensions and renewals
  • Coordinate with contractors for maintenance and repair issues
  • Process deposit returns and resolve rental arrears
  • Process eviction requests
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence for a manual vehicle
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a property manager within residential lettings
  • Strong knowledge of current residential lettings legislation

Benefits:

  • £28,500 to £39,000 basic salary, dependent on experience

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Managing a team of property managers
  • Monitoring and assessing individual team member performance
  • Ensuring the business is risk-averse and follows the highest compliance standards
  • Property inspections
  • Negotiating tenancy extensions and renewals
  • Coordinating with contractors for maintenance and repair issues
  • Deposit returns
  • Resolving rental arrears
  • Processing eviction requests
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords and tenants

The Skills and Abilities You'll Need:

  • Full UK driving licence for a manual vehicle
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a property manager within residential lettings
