Job Description

About the Role

Xclusive Recruitment is seeking an experienced Transportation Coordinator to join our team.

You will be responsible for routing collections and deliveries for our relevant post codes, answering inbound calls, and dealing with requests.

Key responsibilities include planning vehicles around requests, challenges, and changes, monitoring customer requests, allocating jobs, and issuing instructions.

You will also be responsible for communicating fleet availability and issues to the team, liaising with drivers and colleagues to ensure on-time deliveries, and pre-briefing and de-briefing drivers on their daily runs.

Requirements

We are looking for a dynamic individual with a basic understanding of Large Goods Vehicles (weights, dimensions, and terminology), a good geographic knowledge, and a proactive approach to continual professional development.

Computer literacy with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office/Outlook/Teams is essential, as is an excellent team player with the ability to work on own initiative and make decisions.

Working Hours

The working hours for this role are 5am until 2pm each day.
