About the Role

As a Housing Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in helping vulnerable individuals transition into their new lives. Our client, a Northwest-based charity, provides accommodation and support to people who are homeless or at risk of losing their homes.

This temporary opportunity has the potential for longer-term possibilities for the right candidate. You will be working with a dedicated team of leaders, providing support to Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) as they navigate their journey towards independence.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting customers with complex needs and be able to develop effective relationships with customers and colleagues alike. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently are also essential.

In this dynamic role, every day is different. You might accompany young people to the Home Office, teach them how to recycle, or help them budget their money. Your support will directly contribute to the next steps of each young person's journey, helping them grow in confidence and achieve their goals.
