About the Role

ID Systems, part of the M Group Services Water Division, is a leading service provider in the water and wastewater infrastructure sectors in the UK. As a division, we employ circa 3000 people across the UK and are seeking to recruit skilled individuals to join our rapidly growing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation, testing, and maintenance of mechanical equipment, appliances, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
  • Diagnose faults using testing equipment and carry out repairs as instructed.
  • Gain hands-on operational experience by working closely with qualified fitters and other members of the engineering teams.
  • Assist in the completion of academic and practical training requirements of the apprenticeship.
  • Attend college as and when instructed.
  • Complete the apprenticeship within 5 years.

Requirements

  • Must pass numeracy and literacy tests.
  • Hold a valid driving license.
  • Meet the skills and knowledge requirements outlined below.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

  • Manual dexterity demonstrated through the use of hand tools.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weathers and walk/stand on uneven ground.
  • Ability to work within confined spaces without restriction.
