We are currently recruiting for a Youth Care Coordinator to join our team at Keenan Recruitment. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting children, young people, and families in accordance with legislation, policy, and procedure.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will assist Social Workers in assessing the needs of children, young people, and families, implementing child care plans, and undertaking direct work with children and young people. This role requires driving duties and the ability to facilitate supervised family time and contact arrangements.

About the Job:

  1. Assist Social Workers in assessing the needs of children, young people, and families
  2. Implement child care plans and undertake direct work with children and young people
  3. Facilitate supervised family time and contact arrangements
  4. Maintain individual caseloads and provide reports and information as required

Essential Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a care-related subject or an equivalent qualification, along with one year's experience working with families/children in a formal setting. Alternatively, a Level 2 qualification in a care-related subject or an educational-related subject, combined with two years' experience working with families/children in a formal setting, or four years' experience working with families/children in a formal setting, may be considered. A driving license and access to a car are also essential.

Remuneration:
