Learning Support Coordinator

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Teaching Assistant to join our team at SAAF Education, based in Wakefield. The estimated salary for this role is £26,000-£32,000 per annum.
Job Summary:This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and supporting students with emotional and mental health needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide individualized support and create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Support smaller groups of students with their academic and personal development.
- Maintain the tidiness and organization of classrooms before the school day starts.
- Provide assistance to students with emotional and mental health needs.
- Help students adjust, learn, and socialize, while reporting any behavioral issues to teachers.
- Familiarity with school administrative tasks and effective learning methods.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A collaborative approach, with the ability to work well as part of a team and on a 1:1 basis.
- The ability to build trusting relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
- Relevant teaching assistant qualifications or equivalent experience.
