We are seeking an experienced Financial Services Specialist to join our team as a key member of our audit team.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading audits from planning to completion and will possess excellent communication skills.

  • Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum
  • This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounting Executive to join our team and take on a leadership role within our audit team.
Job Requirements:Responsibilities:
  • To lead audits from planning to completion, ensuring that all tasks are completed to deadline and to a high standard.
  • To manage own portfolio of clients, providing regular updates and ensuring that all tasks are completed to deadline.
  • To delegate, supervise and review work of seniors and juniors, ensuring files are complete and all review points addressed before being passed to the Partner or Manager.
  • To monitor work in progress on all jobs within the portfolio, communicating any potential problems and write offs to the Partners or Managers on a timely basis.
  • To undertake critical audit areas in a few key jobs where appropriate.
Qualifications:
  • ACCA/ACA fully qualified.
  • Newly qualified or 1 year of post-qualified experience required.
  • Up-to-date CPE and recent developments in accounting standards (SORP, FRS 102).
  • Computer packages – Excel, Word, Sage, Alpha Tax, CaseWare, VPM/Central.
