Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Customer Service Representative to join our team at our environmental testing laboratory in Didcot, Oxfordshire. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, predominantly via phone and email.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Administrative tasks, including invoicing, booking sample collections, and resolving customer queries.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our services.
  • Work closely with the laboratory team to ensure seamless communication and delivery of services.

Requirements:

  • A background in science is highly beneficial, with a degree or equivalent experience in a scientific environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Highly motivated and organized, with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong appreciation for the principles of quality and efficiency.
