About the Role:
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated SEN Support to join our school and work as a 1:1. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the SENCO, providing essential support to pupils to help them access learning and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a commitment to supporting students with SEN needs and an EHCP.
- Support children’s personal needs and social development.
- Help to prepare classrooms for lessons and assist with resource management.
- Encourage children’s interaction and independence in learning activities.
- Exhibit a passion for fostering children’s learning and development.
- Display flexibility in supporting staff and students as needed within the role.
Requirements:
You’ll be a role model for our pupils, promoting positive behaviour and inclusion. Experience working with children is desirable, but your enthusiasm, communication skills, and willingness to collaborate as part of a team are just as important. This is a rewarding role for someone passionate about education and child development.
