Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Children's Complex Care Assistant. You will have full training and clinical support to develop and enhance skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care. We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and in their homes, with Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs
  • Develop and enhance skills in tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centered care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans

Requirements

  • Previous experience with PEG feeding, vent and suctioning is required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
