Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Active Care Group. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing assessment, intervention, and support to our residents with complex communication and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment and management of communication and swallowing disorders
- Develop evidence-led therapy programmes at a specialist level, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for our patients
- Maintain high standards of clinical care, adhering to national guidance for excellence
- Named Therapist duties to ensure cohesive goal-setting and therapy coordination
- Participate in internal training and development opportunities
- Ensure all relevant codes of practice and regulations are upheld
- Contribute to service delivery audit and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- HCPC registration
- Previous experience of working in a neurorehabilitation setting
- Experience in working with aphasia, cognitive communication disorder, dysarthria, apraxia, and dysphagia is essential
- Specialist level dysphagia competency on RCSLT framework
- Ability to motivate patients and adapt to changing circumstances
