As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to children with complex needs, including those with spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, and acquired brain injuries.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to children with complex needs, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Assist with medical procedures, such as tracheotomy care and ventilation management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with children, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in complex care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in complex care, preferably with PEG feeding, vent, and suctioning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality care.
