Job Overview

We are seeking a Unit Manager to join our team in the CCU Cardiac Unit, which comprises 10 high dependency beds and telemetry units treating patients with a range of cardiology conditions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure the nursing team and care support team are adequately resourced and organised to deliver high-quality care.
  • Lead and develop the nursing team and support teams by providing leadership, direction, and clinical supervision.
  • Monitor and maintain standards to create a safe, clean, and organised environment.
  • Develop and implement processes to increase the time nurses spend in therapeutic contact with patients.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the unit, staff, and resources to ensure excellent patient care and achievement of quality, safety, and performance targets.
