We are seeking to fill the position of Clinical Research Physician at our Synexus Clinical Research site.

This role involves a standard workweek of Monday to Friday, totaling 37 hours, with a primary focus on ensuring patient safety. As the principal investigator (PI) or co-investigator for various studies, you will be responsible for overseeing all sponsor research studies while ensuring compliance with ICH/GCP and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct clinical evaluations and assessments of participants to ensure eligibility and monitor safety and compliance.
  • Participate in Site Initiation Visits (SIV), Pre-Selection Visits (PSV), and Investigator meetings as necessary.
  • Engage in recruitment strategies to meet enrollment targets, ensuring studies are conducted within planned timelines.
  • Review enrollment progress, pre-screening and screening success rates, and participant retention.
  • Interpret study protocols and Investigator's Brochures (IB).
  • Manage and review Interactive Voice Response Systems (IVRS) and Case Report Forms (CRF)/Electronic Data Capture (EDC), if applicable.
  • Oversee the management of investigational medical products (IMP).
  • Supervise multiple studies or those with larger participant numbers.
  • Complete documentation for PI handover.
  • Ensure the safety of participants through ethical practices, prioritizing this at all times during the study.
  • Fulfill all medical responsibilities, ensuring clinical trials adhere to acceptable medical, scientific, and ethical standards, in compliance with protocols, SOPs, ICH, and local GCP guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a GMC registered doctor with no practice limitations.
  • Previous experience in clinical research is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of GCP (ICH/GCP and local regulations) is essential.
  • Ability to provide practical assistance and guidance to colleagues, fostering their development.
  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in recording patient information and data, ensuring timely resolution of any queries.
  • Exhibit teamwork skills, building and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues and patients.
