Job Summary
Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Research Physician to join our team at our Synexus Clinical Research site in the United Kingdom. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for conducting clinical evaluations and assessments, ensuring the safety and adherence of participants, and overseeing the management of investigational medical products.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical evaluations and assessments to ensure eligible participants are recruited and monitored for safety and adherence.
- Attend Site Initiation Visits, Pre-Selections Visits, and Investigator meetings as required.
- Participate in recruitment initiatives and strategy development to ensure targets are achieved.
- Review enrolment progress, pre-screening and screening success rates, screen failure rates, safety, and retention of participants.
- Interpret protocols and IB.
- Manage and review IVRS, CRF/EDC, if applicable.
- Oversee the management of investigational medical products.
- Oversee multiple studies and/or studies with higher numbers.
- Complete documentation for PI handover.
- Care for and protect the safety of participants through ethical conduct.
Requirements
- Be a GMC registered doctor with no limitations to practice.
- Have some previous experience within clinical research.
- Have working knowledge of GCP (ICH/GCP and local regulations compliance).
- Demonstrate the inclination to provide practical help and guidance to colleagues.
- Show meticulous attention to detail in recording patient information and data.
- Be a team player, capable of building and sustaining positive relationships with colleagues and patients.
