About the Role:

  • Conduct market research to identify current and future design and colour trends, and communicate findings to the design team.
  • Collaborate with the design manager to source new fabrics from international suppliers.
  • Assist in developing new and renewed collections, working with colour, design, and plains to create visually appealing collections.
  • Work with photographers and graphic designers to create high-quality room sets and graphic layouts to promote collections.
  • Design and create email promotions, social media content, and other marketing materials as required.
  • Assist in arranging, designing, and organizing exhibitions with the Sales Director.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding collection developments via email and phone.
  • Design artwork, including hand-painting and drawing in various styles.
  • Work to a design brief, adapting to different styles and projects.
  • Interpret hand-drawn designs in CAD using Photoshop and Illustrator.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in textiles (preferred)
  • Excellent English and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
