About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Student Welfare Advisor to join our Student Hub team at the Angel Campus, City and Islington College.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with 16-19 year olds and adults with high social needs in an advice setting, providing specialist advice and guidance to students on a range of issues such as finance, housing, welfare benefits, bursary application, fees status and immigration.

The role involves advising College management on policies and strategic issues relating to student welfare that may impact on student retention and achievement, as well as working with other members of the Student Services teams and teaching staff to advertise the service and ensure that information is reaching all students/Staff across the organisation.

The ideal candidate will have an HND or degree plus a professional qualification in advice work and be passionate about supporting students to achieve their full potential.
