Student Welfare Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Student Welfare Advisor to join our Student Hub team at the Angel Campus, Capital City College Group. The successful candidate will have experience of working with 16-19 year olds and adults with high social needs in an advice setting.
The ideal candidate will provide and promote specialist advice and guidance to students on a range of issues, including finance, housing, welfare benefits, bursary application, fees status, and immigration. This will involve delivering flexible student-focused drop-in sessions and working closely with other members of the Student Services teams and teaching staff to advertise the service and ensure that information reaches all students and staff across the organisation.
The successful candidate will also be expected to advise College management on policies and strategic issues relating to student welfare that may impact on student retention and achievement.
About You:We are looking for an individual with an HND or degree plus a professional qualification in advice work. The successful candidate will be passionate about providing excellent support to students and will have a strong commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
