Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our reach through local authority tenders and grant applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue funding opportunities through local authority tenders and grant applications.
  • Develop and implement tender preparation strategies to ensure high-quality submissions.
  • Oversee the tendering process, from managing tender portals to submission and handover to the implementation team.
  • Foster partnerships with local stakeholders and organizations to gather intelligence and inform tender submissions.
  • Manage multiple tenders simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Business Development role or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of leading the tendering process and producing competitive tenders.
  • Experience managing tight timescales and progressing multiple tenders simultaneously.
  • Ability to gather intelligence from a range of sources and apply it to local tenders.
  • Use of a private vehicle and ability to travel.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard hours.
