Research Opportunity in Mathematical Physics

We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in Mathematical Physics at the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications. This is a three-year fixed-term appointment, with a flexible start date.

The role involves conducting research in many-body quantum chaos and related areas, as part of a dynamic research group. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively, contributing to the wider Mathematical Physics community.

About the Project:

  1. Focusing on many-body quantum chaos and related fields
  2. Collaborating with researchers within the group and internationally

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting research and producing high-quality publications
  • Participating in seminars and conferences
  • Contributing to teaching, with up to three hours per week during academic terms

Salary and Benefits:

£40,855-£46,913 per annum (Grade 7), plus benefits package
