We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Theoretical Research Associate to join our Mathematical Physics Group at the Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford. The successful candidate will contribute to our research in generalized symmetries and their applications in theoretical physics, including quantum field theory, quantum gravity, and condensed matter physics. The role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in theoretical or mathematical physics, who are eager to conduct independent and collaborative research in a dynamic and stimulating environment.

Applicants should have a PhD in theoretical or mathematical physics or a closely related discipline, and possess sufficient specialist knowledge to work within established research programmes. You will be required to submit a curriculum vitae including full list of publications, and a statement of research interests. The successful candidate will be selected based on their ability to satisfy the selection criteria outlined in the job description.
