About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Manager Oversight Analyst to join our Manager Oversight Team at M&G plc. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in conducting investment due diligence on all investment managers and selecting new investment managers that could be used.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the overall investment due diligence effort, incorporating ESG and Sustainable Investment factors
  • Build and maintain investment universes across major asset classes, with a focus on investment approach and ESG considerations
  • Identify top quartile propositions across all investment manager universes, by asset class and investment approach
  • Conduct ongoing detailed investment due diligence on top quartile propositions
  • Conduct market and economic research to inform due diligence views
  • Develop expertise in certain asset class universes and enhance investment due diligence effort
  • Build strong relationships with investment managers and provide support to distribution teams
Requirements
  • Strong experience in fund research/investment due diligence, with experience across major asset classes
  • CFA or equivalent qualification preferred
  • High proficiency in English, with strong communication skills
  • Ability to analyze financial information and provide quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Proactive nature, with ability to work in a small team environment
