About the Role:

The FISER Group is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an Investment Risk Analyst. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the oversight and analysis of our investment funds and asset classes. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams across both public and private sectors to strengthen our risk management framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive modeling, monitoring, and reporting of investment risks across the entire fund, including aspects such as liquidity, equity beta, portfolio liquidity, leverage, and counterparty risks.
  • Oversee risk parameters and compile risk and performance summaries for our proprietary derivative overlay strategies.
  • Enhance risk analytics and exposure reporting in collaboration with the team, focusing on equity, fixed income, private markets, and hedge fund strategies.
  • Assist in the risk modeling and oversight of externally managed investment strategies, including Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) swaps with dealer banks.
  • Partner with the Investment Systems team to streamline risk reporting processes and create reporting dashboards linked to various data sources, facilitating effective portfolio management.
  • Collaborate with the Responsible Investment team on annual reporting and the development of new climate risk reports.
  • Evaluate existing reports with stakeholders and propose enhancements for presentation and workflow improvements.
  • Design and implement innovative investment risk and performance reports for the Investment Division, particularly in response to new derivative strategies.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in investment or market risk, either on the buy-side or sell-side.
  • Strong academic background in a technical discipline such as mathematics, engineering, or sciences.
