About the Role

The Manager Oversight Team is a specialist Investment Due Diligence Team within the Investment Office, responsible for conducting investment due diligence on all investment managers and selecting new investment managers. This role requires a strong understanding of investment manager capabilities and a focus on driving client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the overall investment due diligence effort, incorporating ESG and Sustainable Investment factors
  • Build and maintain investment universes across major asset classes, with a focus on investment approach and ESG considerations
  • Identify top quartile propositions across all investment manager universes, by asset class and investment approach
  • Conduct ongoing detailed investment due diligence on top quartile propositions
  • Conduct market and economic research to inform due diligence views
  • Build expertise in certain asset class universes and enhance investment due diligence effort
  • Build strong relationships with investment managers and provide support to distribution teams
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Strong experience in fund research/investment due diligence, with experience across major asset classes
  • CFA or equivalent qualification preferred but not required
  • High proficiency in written and spoken English, with strong communication skills
  • Ability to analyse financial information and provide quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Proactive nature, with ability to work in a small team environment
