Financial Reporting Manager

Aviva is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our financial reporting team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of timely and high-quality financial reports to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Financial Reporting Senior Manager in ensuring the delivery of CFOs for in-scope markets to relevant Boards, regulators, and Aviva plc.
  • Assist in producing the reporting required by the legal entity CFO on financial results and associated controls to appropriate oversight governance committees.
  • Develop and maintain effective business relationships with relevant stakeholders.
  • Advanced planning and decision-making are essential for effective delivery.
Requirements:
  • Qualified accounting with experience in financial reporting.
  • An enthusiastic and inquisitive mindset, with the ability to learn about technical reporting requirements, Aviva's financial systems, and financial reporting control framework.
  • Confident in building and maintaining effective business relationships with relevant stakeholders.
  • Experience in insurance and Solvency II reporting is beneficial but not essential.
What We Offer:
  • Salary between £45,000 - £50,000 (national) and £55,000 - £60,000 (London), depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
  • Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary, depending on performance and Aviva's.
