About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Practice Plus Group Hospital in Southampton. As a Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective provision of pharmacy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the provision of pharmacy services, including the prescribing and administering of medication, to ensure adherence to best evidence and practice.
  • Provide coordinated medicine information to patients as part of the discharge planning process and post-discharge care.
  • Ensure the legal requirements for the supply and storage of medications and controlled drugs are met.

Requirements

  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Experience of working in a hospital environment, although not essential.
  • Knowledge of medication management and patient care principles.
