The Role
At Holiday Inn Northampton, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Line Chef to join our kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
About the Job
This role involves preparing and cooking food items to a high standard, following recipes and specifications. The successful candidate will have experience of working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be able to maintain a high level of productivity while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Cooking food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other methods to specified recipes and standards.
- Facilitating special requests from guests when received.
- Managing wastage through correct product measurement.
- Ensuring adherence to all kitchen SOPs at all times.
- Setting up and stocking food items and other necessary supplies.
Beyond these key responsibilities, you'll represent our company values and culture, ensuring that service excellence remains our top priority.
What You'll Bring
An ideal candidate will have excellent understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Demonstrable cooking experience including experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook or Prep Cook is essential. Familiarity with industry best practices and Basic Food Safety are also required.
Salary
We offer a competitive salary of £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
