KIDS-6 is a dynamic charity striving to bridge the digital divide for disadvantaged communities. We are seeking an exceptional Programme Director, Driving Digital Inclusion to lead our ambitious programme.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in programme management, with expertise in grant management and monitoring & evaluation frameworks. You will also possess excellent stakeholder management skills, with a history of working across multiple organisations.

This is a unique opportunity to shape a programme that will make a tangible difference in the lives of over 20,000 disabled children and their families across the UK. You will work collaboratively with leading partners like Good Things Foundation, AbilityNet, and CAST to drive lasting change in digital inclusion.

About the Role

  • Programme Development: Oversee the development and delivery of the programme, ensuring outcomes are met within budget and on time.
  • Partnership Building: Collaborate with national charities, technology partners, and funders to create a lasting impact for disabled children and young people.
  • Co-Production: Engage families and service users, ensuring their feedback shapes the programme from start to finish.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Implement robust strategies to measure impact, integrating feedback to continually improve.
  • Risk Management: Oversee programme risks, budget, and expenditure, ensuring all financials are aligned with donor requirements.
  • Funding Opportunities: Identify new funding opportunities to maximize the programme's reach and long-term impact.

Requirements

  • Essential Experience:
    • Proven track record in programme management, preferably in the social or health sectors.
    • Strong stakeholder engagement and partnership-building skills.
    • Leadership experience with cross-functional teams or multi-organisational partnerships.
    • A deep commitment to digital inclusion and a genuine understanding of the challenges faced by disabled children and families.
  • Desirable:
    • Lived experience of disability or familiarity with the disability sector.
    • Previous work in digital inclusion, especially supporting disabled individuals or families.
