About the Role:

HC One is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join their team. As a key member of the care team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to residents, supporting them to live their best possible life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing high-quality care to residents, including personal care, medication management, and emotional support
  • Leading a team of care assistants to ensure excellent standards of care are maintained
  • Collaborating with registered nurses and care managers to develop and implement personalized care plans
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or incidents
  • Contributing to a positive and supportive work environment that promotes kindness and compassion

Requirements:

  • Completed Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care (or equivalent)
  • Ability to work towards Level 3 qualification in Adult Care
  • Experience in person-centered care planning and caring for people with dementia
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
