This is an excellent opportunity to work with children with behavioural, ASD, and social and emotional difficulties. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will work collaboratively with classroom educators to deliver targeted support to Key Stage 1 and 2 students.

About the Job:

  • Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant
  • Location: South East London
  • Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with classroom educators to deliver targeted support to Key Stage 1 and 2 students.
  • Assist in implementing individualized learning plans and adapting teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of each student.
  • Develop strong partnerships with parents, guardians, and colleagues to ensure a holistic approach to student support and development.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably in both Key Stage 1 and 2.
  • Must have Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Understanding of special educational needs and the ability to implement effective support strategies.
