About the Job

We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teach Now. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering high-quality lessons.
  • Support students who require extra help through targeted interventions.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and motivation.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop learning plans that meet the needs of students with special educational needs.

Requirements:

  • A Level 4 or higher Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA in a primary school setting.
  • A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Key Stages 1 and 2.
