We are a 5-star luxury lifestyle boutique hotel located in the heart of Chelsea, and we are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Luggage Porter/Doorman. This exciting role offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service, working closely with our guests to ensure their stay with us is nothing short of perfect.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience to our guests, handling all inquiries and queries, and communicating all relevant issues and information during the daily handover for each shift. You will also assist guests with their luggage requirements, such as storage or room delivery, upon arrival and departure.

As a member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary of up to £34,856 (£16.75 per hour), depending on experience. Plus, enjoy increased holiday allowance with length of service, complimentary meal while on duty, and access to our Health Plan, among other benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing a warm and professional welcome and farewell to all guests and visitors in a polite, friendly manner.
  • Handling all inquiries and queries regarding the hotel and the surrounding area in a helpful and courteous manner.
  • Having a good knowledge of the hotel's services, products, and facilities.
  • Communicating all relevant issues and information during the daily handover for each shift.
  • Assisting guests with their luggage requirements, such as storage or room delivery, upon arrival and departure.

Essential Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hotel industry or luxury guest services environment.
  • The physical ability to move around the hotel frequently and handle luggage efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
  • A good command of spoken English to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
