Clinical Lead Pharmacist

Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Clinical Lead Pharmacist to join their team. This is a key leadership position within the renal pharmacy services, responsible for delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients across South East London. The successful candidate will lead the renal pharmacy service at the Denmark Hill site and be accountable for the delivery of comprehensive clinical pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities
The post holder will lead, develop, and manage the clinical pharmacy services to the Renal Care Group. This includes ensuring the provision of safe and effective pharmaceutical care, developing and implementing guidelines and policies, and managing budgets. They will also work closely with senior healthcare professionals to identify opportunities for service improvement and development.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a Masters degree in Pharmacy (MPharm) and be registered as a pharmacist (MRPharmS). You must also have experience of supervising others, protocol development, and financial reporting. A postgraduate diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or Pharmacy Practice is desirable. In addition, you should be able to motivate self and others, demonstrate an advanced level of clinical reasoning, and have a commitment to the clinical governance agenda. Estimated salary: £75,000 - £90,000 per annum.
