About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to lead our Renal Pharmacy service. This is an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist to develop their career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

About the Team:
Our Renal Unit is a busy tertiary referral centre, renowned for its high standards. The team provides specialist inpatient care to patients with acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and end-stage renal failure. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the renal pharmacy service, including both inpatient and outpatient care at the Denmark Hill site and satellite dialysis units located across South East London.

Key Responsibilities:
The post holder will lead, deliver, develop, manage, and evaluate the clinical pharmacy services to the Renal Care Group. This will involve ensuring the provision of high-quality, safe, comprehensive pharmaceutical services to the care group. The post holder is expected to act as a specialist role model and expert in the clinical field, demonstrating advanced knowledge in renal medicine. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing guidelines and policies for drug use, regular financial reporting, and drug usage forecasting.
