The Role

We're seeking a skilled Shift Manager to lead our team in our Chilwell, Nottingham takeaway site. As a Shift Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering quality food and service, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations, and developing and leading a team of customer service and kitchen staff.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of customer service and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences and quality food standards
  • Develop and implement effective shift rotas, ensuring adequate staffing levels and minimizing downtime
  • Place orders with suppliers, complete weekly stock checks, and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Supervise and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service
  • Identify and implement opportunities for growth and improvement, driving business success and customer satisfaction

Your Skills and Experience

We're looking for a highly organized and communicative individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and quality food standards. You'll have:

  • Proven leadership and team management experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
  • A good level of IT experience, with proficiency in relevant software and systems
  • A driving license, as this is an essential part of the role
