Care and Support Specialist

Salary: £12 per hour + paid travel time and mileage.
Candlelight Care is seeking enthusiastic, caring, and reliable individuals to join our dedicated and friendly, family-run team, supporting vulnerable adults in their own homes. We currently have opportunities for both full and part-time Care and Support Specialists. Our typical shift patterns run from 7am - 2pm and/or 4pm up to 10pm. We also ask for a commitment to working alternate weekends. Driving is not always essential depending on location.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Care Support Specialist, you will have the opportunity to get to know our clients and their interests and needs. You will provide emotional and practical support, assist with personal care (washing, toileting, dressing) domestic household tasks and food preparation, all tailored to each individual's needs.
You will also be assisting with medication, use of mobility aids and personal equipment where required, and have a responsibility to report to the Registered Manager any significant changes in the health or circumstances of a client.
