Job Title: Community Paramedic Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Paramedic Specialist to join our team at K & W Healthcare. As a Community Paramedic Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients in their own homes and care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with undifferentiated diagnoses, providing holistic care and treatment.
  • Develop and implement care plans for patients, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
  • Work closely with GP practices and other healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and integration.
  • Participate in audit and quality improvement activities to optimize patient outcomes and service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Registered Paramedic qualification and experience.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and skills, with a focus on community care and primary health.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the service.
  • Full driving license and access to a suitable vehicle.
