Financial Assistant Role

Nxtgen Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Financial Assistant to join our client, a leading law firm, on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role offers the chance to support internal stakeholders by delivering vital financial advice and ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes.

As a Financial Assistant, you will provide essential financial guidance and play a key role in assisting with financial data and reporting to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide financial support and advice to partners and the wider business.
Assist in managing month-end processes, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
Produce accurate financial reports to support performance management and planning.
Support the budgeting and forecasting process to ensure financial targets are met.
Assist with the development and improvement of financial systems and processes.

The ideal candidate will be part-qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or working towards qualification, with a solid understanding of financial analysis and reporting. Previous experience in a finance role, preferably within professional services, is desirable. Salary £30k - £35k depending on experience.
