Healthcare Improvement Specialist

Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for improving health and social care services? We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Improvement Specialist to join our team at the Community Engagement and Transformational Change Directorate of NHS Scotland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the implementation of evidence-based improvement methods across various healthcare settings. This will involve working closely with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement, developing strategies to address these issues, and monitoring progress towards achieving set goals.
We are particularly interested in applicants with experience in implementing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Standards and improving pathways into, through, and out of Residential Rehabilitation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Scottish Government's National Mission to reduce drug and alcohol-related deaths and harms.
In this role, you will work as part of the Transformational Change in Drugs, Alcohol & Housing Portfolio, collaborating with experts from various fields to drive positive change in the lives of individuals affected by substance misuse. Your expertise will help shape policy and practice, ultimately contributing to a safer and healthier Scotland.
We offer a competitive salary of £51,949 per annum, reflecting the seniority of the position. This is a permanent contract, with opportunities for flexible working arrangements. Our offices are located in Edinburgh or Glasgow, offering easy access to public transportation.
