About the Role:

This is a pivotal position within The Midcounties Co-operative, requiring a seasoned leader to provide management coverage and support to our national network of nurseries. As a key member of the childcare team, you will work closely with the Head of Operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide short-term management coverage and support to our national network of nurseries
  • Work in conjunction with Regional Managers to solve business problems and improve performance
  • Establish positive working relationships with nursery teams and provide direction, guidance, and leadership
  • Role model best practice and provide expertise to Nursery management teams

Requirements:

  • Minimum level 3 qualification in Early Years, preferably level 4 or above
  • Proven track record of successfully leading a team
  • Experience in the early years sector of a minimum of 2-years
  • Self-starter with a high energy approach and a desire to work in a fast-paced, change environment
  • Proven ability to deliver an operational strategy and manage expenditure within budgetary limits
  • Good IT skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel nationally and hold a current driver's license
