Safeguarding Families Specialist Practitioner

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust prioritizes the safety and well-being of individuals, particularly vulnerable families. As a safeguarding specialist, you will contribute to this mission by delivering exceptional safeguarding practices across the Trust.
You will work collaboratively with the Safeguarding Team to develop and implement effective safeguarding strategies, providing guidance and support to staff. Your expertise will be invaluable in promoting a culture of safeguarding excellence within the organization.
Main ResponsibilitiesKey duties include:
- Providing expert advice and guidance on safeguarding matters
- Developing and delivering training programs to enhance safeguarding knowledge and skills
- Collaborating with multi-agency partners to raise awareness and promote safeguarding best practices
- Supporting the Named Nurse for Children and Named Professional for Adults in developing the safeguarding 'think family' approach
