Financial Management Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Professional to oversee our accounts department and lead the preparation of management accounts and statutory audit packs for external auditors.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare management accounts within 10 working days
- Compile audit packs for statutory auditors within 3 months of year-end
- Conduct full balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage weekly cash flow
- Produce forecast analysis of management accounts for the board
- Report variances in management information to the board
- Oversee VAT returns for team members
- Manage staff travel accounts for directors
- Ensure timely completion of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks for the department
- Mentor assistants within the department to enhance their skills and career development
This role requires a strong leadership/ team management & development experience, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar finance manager position. You will also need to have hands-on experience with budgeting and analysis, as well as proficiency in Excel.
