We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Professional to oversee our accounts department and lead the preparation of management accounts and statutory audit packs for external auditors.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare management accounts within 10 working days
  2. Compile audit packs for statutory auditors within 3 months of year-end
  3. Conduct full balance sheet reconciliations
  4. Manage weekly cash flow
  5. Produce forecast analysis of management accounts for the board
  6. Report variances in management information to the board
  7. Oversee VAT returns for team members
  8. Manage staff travel accounts for directors
  9. Ensure timely completion of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks for the department
  10. Mentor assistants within the department to enhance their skills and career development

This role requires a strong leadership/ team management & development experience, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar finance manager position. You will also need to have hands-on experience with budgeting and analysis, as well as proficiency in Excel.
