Financial Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team at Succeed Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounts department and assisting the Head of Finance in developing the department.
The successful candidate will have a strong leadership and team management background, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar Finance Manager role. They will also possess excellent budgeting and analysis skills, as well as experience in preparing management accounts.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Preparing management accounts to target 10 working days
- Preparing the audit pack for statutory auditors within 3 months of year end
- Full balance sheet reconciliations
- Weekly Cashflow
- Forecast Analysis of management accounts for board
- Reporting to board on variances in management information
- Management of accounts team members VAT returns
- Overseeing all daily, weekly and monthly tasks for the department and ensuring timely completion
- Mentoring of assistants within the department to further their career and develop their skills
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks. They will also be proficient in Excel and have a hands-on approach to their work.
