Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Maternity Smoking Support Specialist to join our team at Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. In this role, you will play a crucial part in reducing smoking rates among pregnant women and promoting healthier lifestyles.

Salary: £26,530 - £29,114 per year (pro rata if part-time)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing effective tobacco cessation strategies
  • Providing one-to-one support and guidance to pregnant women
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • GCSE level English and Mathematics or equivalent qualification/experience
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in health-related studies or substantial successful experience delivering stop-smoking interventions and support
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
