Public Safety Specialist

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
About the JobWe are seeking a skilled Public Safety Specialist to join our team as a Police Enquiry Officer. As the first point of contact for reported crimes and incidents, you will provide a professional and effective frontline service to members of the public.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the initial response point for reported crimes and incidents
- Providing guidance, advice, and information on legislation, policing responsibilities, and police complaints
- Maintaining compliance with Force policy and procedures
- Receiving and recording information accurately in line with force working practices and policies
- Dealing supportively with witnesses, victims, and the general public, escalating issues where necessary
- Receiving, recording, checking, and issuing official documents produced at the enquiry office
To be considered for this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A full understanding of Microsoft Office is essential.
