About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team as a key member of our maintenance delivery model. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing faults, conducting repairs, and maintaining assets across various operational sites.

In this role, you will draw upon your expertise to implement permanent asset preservation techniques, both reactively and proactively. You will possess the ability to identify assets in need of repair, prevent future faults and breakdowns, and offer recommendations to stakeholders regarding necessary planned maintenance for the implementation of permanent solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert support in electrical systems to maintain or minimize risk and impact on customers.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance across operational sites, diagnosing faults in asset control, electrical systems, and automation.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines within a mobile field team.
  • Maintain open communication with all personnel affected by your work.
  • Create or update site engineering documentation to facilitate operational functions.
  • Support internal customers in alignment with our vision of being Trusted, Responsible, Collaborative, and Progressive.
  • Plan, prioritize, and execute work to meet the requirements of the maintenance delivery model and operations team.
  • Adhere to current ISO and health and safety systems, procedures, and policies at all times.
  • Willingly undergo necessary training to enhance technical skills and maintain up-to-date awareness of health and safety practices.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a time-served apprenticeship supported by relevant formal qualifications such as City and Guilds, BTEC, ONC/HNC/HND.
  • Compliance with current IEE Regs 18th Edition.
  • City & Guilds Inspect and Test 2391-10 certification.
  • A valid UK driving license.

Salary: The salary for this position is estimated to be around £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
